Houston for the week

Hey guys,

I just thought I would give a quick update. I am in Houston TX for the week on business. I will be installing CMS for University of Houston and then training their users. At the end of the week, I will be flying back to Atlanta and then picking up the van and the beretta for another fun 14 hour drive back to Austin. You kids have fun =-)

Sorta moved in…

Well, we have made the first wave to Austin. 98% of my stuff has been moved from Ga and I will now reside here full time. We found a small 1 bedroom apartment that we will be staying in until the house is done being built. It isn’t fancy or special, but it has our needs taken care of in the mean time. I also have to go back to Atlanta at the end of the month to bring the remaining cars here to Tx. I want to take this opportunity to thank Heather and Carlos for all their help with the move. Thanks guys; couldn’t have done it without you, or at least I wouldn’t have wanted to.

Here is a sneak peak of what my new office setup looks like at the moment. =-)

Almost out of Reno

Today will be my last full day here in Reno. I have finished up with my client here and have to say that this has been one of the most enjoyable business trips that I have taken so far. It has been quite a long trip but I not only got to see some of the most beautiful part of our country, but the people that I worked with were just so darn pleasant. This past weekend, I spent several hours just driving around the area and I must encourage all of you if you ever get the chance to see the Lake Tahoe area, you really need to try. I drove from Reno up to Mt. Rose and that was just incredible to go from about 3000ft to 8000ft in elevation in a matter of minutes. It was gorgous weather and then on the other side of the mountain, I proceeded to drive around the length of Lake Tahoe and it was incredible. I highly reccomend it for any of you that get the chance and I took a couple of pictures with my camera phone so hopefully, when I get back home, I will download them off the phone and will upload them here for all of you to see.

First Real Day at Work

Enjoying the cold weather here up in St. Paul. First real day at work here and I am training to do my real job. I should be here for a couple of days and then Wednesday, I leave for nashville to do my first real day at work. I have to go back to doing some real work, but I will update ya’ll later on. I am sorry for not updating this as often as I should and I know that I have said that many times before, but I promise to get better. =-)
